To everyone connected to Rog, We warmly invite you to join us in paying tribute to his life and legacy.
This Saturday at Furness Cricket Club, we will be holding:
A moment of silence in remembrance of Rog
Followed by a moment of applause in recognition of his years of commitment and dedication to the club
These tributes will take place during the half-time interval of the cricket fixture, expected to fall between 3:30 and 4:30 PM. (Please note: cricket timings can vary slightly.)
We encourage everyone to come along and show their support as we remember a cherished member of our club, who passed away so suddenly. Let’s make it a heartfelt and meaningful occasion.
If you’re unable to attend, please know there will be other opportunities to pay your respects. It’s common for sports clubs to honour individuals like Rog in simple but sincere ways and that’s exactly what we hope to do. We want this to be respectful and considerate of others, while giving space for all who knew Rog to reflect and remember in their own way.
